About us

The company is led by Eric D'Haene, managing director of A Thousand Skies. Eric has a unique profile combining experience of engineering methods and managerial skills in logistics.He has worked as R&D director for a number of brands developing award winning products for them. Some of the products he designed include handheld electronic beauty devices, electro-stimulation, photo therapy, ultrasound etc...His decades of experience working in Asia and proficiency in spoken Mandarin have helped build relationships and trust across a large network of suppliers, factories and subsidiaries across Asia Pacific.The company has resources spread across the region with a unique combination of skills and expertise going from local sourcers, to mechanical engineers (Pro E, SolidWorks, etc.), specialists in 3D printing, experts in tolerances for plastic injection molds and die casting for metal. For specific electronics projects, we have electronics engineers to design prototype circuits and program in C.Depending on the locations, we also regularly recruit local QC staff to streamline quality control for large volumes productions.
